Personal Training

It's well known that having a resistance training routine supports a healthy metabolism, preserves and increases brain health, and prevents injuries by strengthening bodily tissues and improving coordination.

However, it's important to know that not every exercise is meant for every person and what might work for one individual, won't work for another. There is no such thing as a bad exercise, just one that is poorly prescribed. That's why an in-depth assessment is the first step to designing your program.

First I will gather your goals and desires for training, your health history, and information about your lifestyle. After that, I will take you through a movement assessment to understand your postural and movement asymmetries, your available mobility, and your movement coordination.

Once all the data is collected, a detailed plan is designed specifically for you and your goals. Schedule your consultation below!

Restoration

If you struggle with chronic pain, have flair-ups performing day-to-day activities or hobbies, or just feel like your body is not in balance but you desire to have or continue an active lifestyle, then Restoration is for you.

Think of these sessions as "movement therapy" or movement re-education. These sessions are great for those looking to take a much slower pace to learn how to restore and move their body well and integrate that into resistance training practice.

We will look at the more nuanced information your body is displaying by understanding how your posture, gait, and breathing are working together to perform your daily tasks. Each session we will take the time to look and see if a technique or exercise was effective for restoring your movement. Schedule your consultation below!

Non-Clinical
Manual Therapy

Whether you already have an active lifestyle and are looking for a service to add to your recovery tool belt or have some trouble spots that just need a tune up, I got you covered!

Manual therapy is never a cure-all. However, manual therapy can be a powerful tool for helping you along a recovery process or providing a window of opportunity for new movement to occur.

Unlike massage therapy, this service takes a more calculated approach to soft tissue mobilization by also working with the root cause of your discomfort by using movement assessments and integrating light movement within a session.
